Over the years, working as clinical dietitians in the hospital setting and seeing numerous private clients at Chelsea Nutrition, We’ve learned that many people are told by doctors that everything is fine. However, they still struggle with numerous ailments, such as chronic fatigue and debilitating gastrointestinal symptoms. As a result, they now feel the need to accept their ailments as their new norm and live with it. But you don’t have to!. Jennifer Maeng, MS, RD, CDN, LD, CNSC

Chelsea Nutrition Founder

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University.   Jennifer completed her Dietetics Internship at New York Presbyterian Hospital and went on to specialize in adult clinical nutrition at New York Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center and NYU Langone Health. 

As a clinical dietitian, Jennifer has extensive experience working with a wide range of medical conditions including managing diabetes, gastrointestinal cancers and providing enteral and parental nutrition.  Additionally, as a former chef and a restaurateur, Jennifer uses her broad clinical and culinary knowledge to help guide her clients in making lasting lifestyle changes.  Her clients range from busy professionals who need help managing their nutrition on the go to individuals who have recently been discharged from the hospital with more complicated medical conditions. 

Jennifer is the author of Adrenal Fatigue Diet and Action Plan, which provides complete overview of adrenal fatigue with practical action plans.

Her second book 5 Ingredient Alkaline Cookbook, debunks alkaline diet myths and promotes plant forward diet to help reduce inflammation in the body.

When Jennifer is not seeing clients or writing her next book, she spends her time with her two kids going to a park or museum.  She also loves going for a long run or testing new recipes on her family.

Angela Carullo, MBA, MS, RD, CDN, CNSC

Angela has her Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. She completed her dietetic internship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, after which she stayed on as a Pediatric Fellow. During her fellowship, she further developed her pediatric skills, including developing healthy eating education materials and child-friendly recipes, as well as providing care for pediatric oncology patients. She went on to specialize in Pediatric Medicine, Nutrition Support and Critical Care.

Angela has a wide range of clinical pediatric experience working with children of all ages including infants and toddlers through adolescence.  From solid food introduction, picky eating and poor weight gain to tube feeding support and food allergy management, Angela has the expertise to offer you and your child an individualized nutrition plan. Angela’s evidence-based approach and years of experience can help promote great nutrition for children of all ages regardless of feeding ability or medical diagnosis.   

Prior to pursuing nutrition, Angela graduated with highest honors from Wagner College with an undergraduate degree in Marketing and continued on to earn her Master’s of Business Administration from Pace University. After establishing a career in Public Relations, she decided to return to school to become a Registered Dietitian.

Angela is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Greater New York Dietetic Association and the Pediatrics Dietetics Practice Group.
